The Nine Commentaries were first published on November 19th 2004 by the Epoch Times, the most widely distributed Chinese language newspaper in the world. This series explores the history and nature of the Chinese Communist Party (the CCP). From its origins stemming from a branch of Soviet communism, the CCP imposed a foreign ideology on China. Traditional Chinese culture maintained strong spiritual values that served as the core unifying principles for China throughout its 5,000 year history. All of this has since been destroyed by the CCP from the time it took control over China in 1949.

Through listening to the “Nine Commentaries”, we will discover how the CCP emphasizes violent struggle against humanity, nature and the laws of Heaven to gain and maintain power, and how it indiscriminately changes its policies with complete disregard for morality, justice and human life. In its 50 years of rule, the CCP has been disastrous for both China and its people. Communist tyranny brought to China an estimated 60 to 80 million unnatural deaths, this number greater than the total deaths from the two world wars, and 13 times that of the Jewish people killed by the Nazi regime.

Since its publication, the “Nine Commentaries”, has been the motivating factor to awaken and inspire over 14 million people to renounce Chinese Communist Party rule. These documented renouncements are made by mainland Chinese citizens choosing to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliate organizations on a daily basis, averaging 20 - 30,000 people per day. The Epoch Times has noted that as the “Nine Commentaries” continues to spread throughout China, the rate of renouncements is accelerating. It has also sparked much discussion among the international community and has been the main topic of interest and concern in many worldwide forums.

In August 2005, the “Nine Commentaries” won top honors in the category “Asian American Issues - Online” by the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA). More than a thousand journalists who work for newspapers, magazines, TV, radio stations and web sites all over the U.S. attended this national meeting. In October 2005, at the international book fair in Frankfurt, Germany, the “Nine Commentaries”, which has been translated into more than 20 languages, greatly impressed the publishers.

The rapid increase in the number of withdrawals prompted the creation of a worldwide non¬profit organization called - the Global Service Centers to Withdraw from the CCP.

The Global Service Centers to Withdraw from the CCP are headquartered in the USA, and has grown to become a network covering four continents, located in cities with a high Chinese population, including New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, London, and Paris. They directly correspond to the provinces and cities in China, aiming to serve Chinese citizens wishing to withdraw from the Party. They widely promote the “Nine Commentaries” as well as cover news about withdrawals from the Party.

The CCP is well aware of the political impact of the “Nine Commentaries”. A survey conducted by Harvard University on censorship of the Internet revealed that the “Nine Commentaries” is the primary focus of the CCP’s censorship. Even so, The CCP’s attempt to prevent the spread of the “Nine Commentaries” by strict information blockade has proved futile.

People are taking various measures to read or spread the “Nine Commentaries” in China, by methods such as breaking through the Internet blockade, printing it in underground printing factories, and even transporting it using commercial trucks. These brave acts are done in the face of great personal, risk for in China anyone caught with a copy of the “Nine Commentaries” is subject to 4 years imprisonment. In spite of this, millions of courageous Chinese people have risked everything to oppose communism. And in doing so, they not only help to bring an end to tyranny at home, they are helping to make the world more peaceful, free, and stable. Their firm and peaceful actions of rejecting the CCP fills the world with awe and gratitude.

From the beginning, the publication of the “Nine Commentaries” heralded the CCP’s fate of extinction. We will understand more of the historical significance of the “Nine Commentaries” after the CCP is suddenly erased from the Earth.

During the Cultural Revolution, it was too common that fathers and sons tortured each other, husbands and wives struggled against each other and mothers and daughters reported on each other. The CCP places the party nature above human nature, and the fact that Chinese people will act against their inner conscience results from prolonged courses of CCP indoctrination where the concepts of good and evil are arbitrarily manipulated.

In Part 2a, we heard how in the late 19th century and early 20th century China experienced tremendous external shocks and made many attempts at internal reform. At the extreme point of national crisis and out of anxiety and desperation, China looked beyond its borders for a quick solution to its suffering and allowed the foreign concept of Communism to be established within its borders.

Chinese traditional culture was rejected and the destruction of everything traditional was advocated. By 1949 when the Chinese Communist Party came into full power, of the 13 members of the original CCP congress, only Mao Zedong remained. It is unclear whether the founders of the CCP were aware at the time that what they introduced from the Soviet Union was in reality an evil specter, and the remedy they sought for strengthening the nation was instead a deadly poison.

It was not easy to introduce such a foreign incompatible and evil specter such as the Communist Party into China - a civilization with a history of 5000 years.

The CCP deceived the Chinese people with the promise of the “communist utopia”. It uses the distorted theoretical basis of violent revolution to destroy all traditional morals and principles and eliminate all threats to its control.

The history of the Chinese Communist Party is an accumulation of wickedness, and 9 malignant characteristics have been perfected, consolidated and strengthened.

The first of these 9 characteristics is the trait of Evil - whose root is from the Marxist-Leninist declaration to “use violent revolution to destroy the old state apparatus and establish a dictatorship of the proletariat”.

The 2nd trait is Deception. In order for such a destructive violent force to be unleashed, the communist specter uses deception freely to manipulate the minds and actions of people who then become unwitting participants in their own destruction.

Part 2b: The 3rd inherited trait is Incitement. The CCP created class struggle through propaganda by inciting hatred and violence between landowners and peasants, where no such animosity existed.

The 4th inherited trait is Unleashing the Scum of Society. The CCP utilized hoodlums to enhance its violent nature and establish the early political power of the communist party in rural areas.

The 5th trait is Espionage, where the CCP infiltrated organizations and sowed dissension in oder to disrupt, destroy and usurp.

The 6th trait is Robbery. Everything the CCP has obtained is through robbery. The confiscation of land and resources through violence, replaced the tradition of sharing the commonweath and established “the new order” of the CCP.

The 7th trait is Fighting. Mao Zedong stated, “a revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.” The CCP uses fighting to forcibly seize state power. The CCP also used fighting to “educate” the next generation during the Cultural Revolution.

The 8th trait is Elimination. Every political movement of the CCP was a campaign of terror with genocidal intent. The expression of CCP genocide is the extermination of conscience and independent thought through violence. In this way a “reign of terror” serves the fundamental interests of the CCP.

And the 9th inherited trait is Control. All of the previously mentioned traits of the CCP aim to achieve a single goal - to control the populace through the use of terror.

Thus, the CCP party nature overwhelms human nature so completely that the Chinese people lose their humanity.

The confiscation of land and resources through violence, replaced the tradition of sharing the commonweath and established "the new order" of the CCP.

The 7th trait is Fighting. Mao Zedong stated, "a revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another." The CCP uses fighting to forcibly seize state power. The CCP also used fighting to "educate" the next generation during the Cultural Revolution.

The 8th trait is Elimination. Every political movement of the CCP was a campaign of terror with genocidal intent. The expression of CCP genocide is the extermination of conscience and independent thought through violence. In this way a "reign of terror" serves the fundamental interests of the CCP.

And the 9th inherited trait is Control. All of the previously mentioned traits of the CCP aim to achieve a single goal - to control the populace through the use of terror.

Thus, the CCP party nature overwhelms human nature so completely that the Chinese people lose their humanity.</itunes:summary>

In Part 2d, we heard that in December 1936, two generals of the KMT Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng kidnapped Chiang Kai-shek at Xi’an, to force him to terminate the civil war against the Communists and establish a united front against the encroaching Japanese. Or, that is what the CCP would like us to believe.

The reality is that Zhang and Yang, although generals within the Kuomintang, had close ties to members within the CCP who directly instigated the coup to get the KMT to cooperate with the CCP again. When the Anti-Japanese war broke out in 1937, the CCP did not make much of a contribution to the war against the Japanese at all. Instead they expanded their own base while the KMT did all the fighting on the frontlines. Later the CCP incorporated the surrendering Japanese soldiers into its own army and claimed to have expanded to be more than 900,000 soldiers.

After the Anti-Japanese war was over, the CCP launched the so-called “War of Liberation” in 1946-49 to overthrow the KMT. During this time the CCP signed the Harbin Agreement and the Moscow agreement with the Soviet Union where preferential mining rights and agricultural products from China’s northeast were exchanged for Soviet military support as well as airplanes, weapons and munitions, thus bringing further disruption to the nation of China in order to seize power.

Part 2e: The CCP doesn’t believe in any recognized principle of morality or justice. Operating from its own inherited traits, the fundamentally selfish CCP focuses on it’s own survival. In our cycle of history, society could not restrain its malignant elements. And like a cancerous mass which expands and envelops surrounding healthy cells, the CCP has degraded the morality of humankind. The experience with the KMT infused the CCP with the two additional weapons - propaganda and espionage. These were incorporated into the nine malignant traits of the CCP.

The CCP uses a two sided strategy to wield its influence one side soft and the other side hard. The soft strategies include propaganda, sowing dissension, getting into people’s minds, brainwashing, covering up truth, psychological abuse, espionage, and generating an atmosphere of terror. The hard methods include violence, armed attacks, persecution, murdering witnesses, kidnapping, and suppression of opposing voices. Both hard and soft methods create a syndrome of fear, stamp out human nature, foster maliciousness, and create and perpetuate terror.
