In northern Shaanxi province, while pinned between the KMT and the Japanese, the CCP began the Yan’an movement and murdered massive numbers of people in a mass cleansing. This pattern of internal rivalry and killing one another in repetitive massacres was expanded by the CCP from small areas to the whole nation and it did not hinder the CCP from establishing its power to rule all of China.

The CCP has a life of its own. The Party runs its officials and not the other way around. When the CCP was at it’s best – and most evil, their highest officials failed in their positions because their personal degree of evil did not meet the standard of the CCP. Those CCP leaders who survived their positions were not those who could influence the Party, but those who could comprehend the Party’s evil intensions and follow them.

Land reform was the elimination of the landlord class. Reforms in industry and commerce was the elimination of the capitalist class. Ideological reform was the suppression of all religious faiths. These struggles paved the way for communism to became the all encompassing religion in China.Part 3b: In 1957, Mao Zedong called upon intellectuals to “help the CCP rectify itself”. He promised no reprisals to those who voiced their view. This promise was hollow as Mao’s true intension behind this encouragement of expression was to “Lure the Snakes out of their holes”. This was the beginning of multiple campaigns to eliminate so called rightists. Tens of thousands of people lost their freedoms and were sent to labor camps for forced re-education. Over time, the Chinese intellectuals who traditionally had a great sense of responsibility toward the nation, were permanently silenced.

In Part 3b, we heard how the Cultural Revolution was a calamity unprecedented in Chinese history Conservative estimates place the number of unnatural deaths at 7.73 million. The violence during the cultural revolution was the policy of the CCP and regional governments to turn one group to kill another everyone’s life was in danger. The terror of the Cultural Revolution brought the CCP and Mao Zedong’s “cult of the personality” to climax by compelling people to carry out religious type rituals everyday, establishing communism as the one and only religion dominating the entire country. Not only did the CCP control the state, but the minds of each and every individual was placed into its control.

Part 3c: Utilizing the pronouncements of law, the social institution of education, the vehicle of the media and by implementing policies by coercion, the CCP has been effective in maintaining it’s tyrannical rule. How the CCP controls its people is not limited to the physical torture it inflicts. The Party forces people to lose the ability to think independently.

<itunes:summary>In Part 3b, we heard how the Cultural Revolution was a calamity unprecedented in Chinese history Conservative estimates place the number of unnatural deaths at 7.73 million. The violence during the cultural revolution was the policy of the CCP and regional governments to turn one group to kill another everyone's life was in danger. The terror of the Cultural Revolution brought the CCP and Mao Zedong's "cult of the personality" to climax by compelling people to carry out religious type rituals everyday, establishing communism as the one and only religion dominating the entire country. Not only did the CCP control the state, but the minds of each and every individual was placed into its control.

Part 3c: Utilizing the pronouncements of law, the social institution of education, the vehicle of the media and by implementing policies by coercion, the CCP has been effective in maintaining it's tyrannical rule. How the CCP controls its people is not limited to the physical torture it inflicts. The Party forces people to lose the ability to think independently.</itunes:summary>

In Part 3c, we heard that after the Cultural Revolution CCP leadership changed banners frequently as the government changed hands 6 times within 20 years. Although claims were made that changes were towards reform and opening-up, history shows us that the political control of the CCP continues to rely upon the philosophy of struggle and violence. The only difference from the past is that the Party has become even more deceptive. Utilizing the pronouncements of law, the social institution of education, the vehicle of the media and by implementing policies by coercion, the CCP has been effective in maintaining it’s tyrannical rule.

How the CCP controls its people is not limited to the physical torture it inflicts. The Party forces people to lose the ability to think independently making them fearful, self protective and cowardly, daring not to speak up. It is a crime for someone to think outside the boundary imposed by the CCP.

Part 3d: The CCP has soley been self serving, concerned only for of it’s own survival regardless of the suffering imposed on its citizenry. Although the CCP would demand strict self monitoring from the common people, members of the CCP have flagrantly participated in corruption, embezzlement, and unlawful conduct.
