9 Commentaries CD CoverWelcome to our audio series of the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”. The Nine Commentaries were first published on November 19th 2004 by the Epoch Times, the most widely distributed Chinese language newspaper in the world. This series explores the history and nature of the Chinese Communist Party (the CCP). From its origins stemming from a branch of Soviet communism, the CCP imposed a foreign ideology on China. Traditional Chinese culture maintained strong spiritual values that served as the core unifying principles for China throughout its 5,000 year history. All of this has since been destroyed by the CCP from the time it took control over China in 1949.

Through listening to the “Nine Commentaries”, we will discover how the CCP emphasizes violent struggle against humanity, nature and the laws of Heaven to gain and maintain power, and how it indiscriminately changes its policies with complete disregard for morality, justice and human life. In its 50 years of rule, the CCP has been disastrous for both China and its people. Communist tyranny brought to China an estimated 60 to 80 million unnatural deaths, this number greater than the total deaths from the two world wars, and 13 times that of the Jewish people killed by the Nazi regime.

Since its publication, the “Nine Commentaries”, has been the motivating factor to awaken and inspire over 14 million people to renounce Chinese Communist Party rule. These documented renouncements are made by mainland Chinese citizens choosing to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliate organizations on a daily basis, averaging 20 - 30,000 people per day. The Epoch Times has noted that as the “Nine Commentaries” continues to spread throughout China, the rate of renouncements is accelerating. It has also sparked much discussion among the international community and has been the main topic of interest and concern in many worldwide forums.

In August 2005, the “Nine Commentaries” won top honors in the category “Asian American Issues - Online” by the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA). More than a thousand journalists who work for newspapers, magazines, TV, radio stations and web sites all over the U.S. attended this national meeting. In October 2005, at the international book fair in Frankfurt, Germany, the “Nine Commentaries”, which has been translated into more than 20 languages, greatly impressed the publishers.

The rapid increase in the number of withdrawals prompted the creation of a worldwide non¬profit organization called - the Global Service Centers to Withdraw from the CCP.

The Global Service Centers to Withdraw from the CCP are headquartered in the USA, and has grown to become a network covering four continents, located in cities with a high Chinese population, including New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, London, and Paris. They directly correspond to the provinces and cities in China, aiming to serve Chinese citizens wishing to withdraw from the Party. They widely promote the “Nine Commentaries” as well as cover news about withdrawals from the Party.

The CCP is well aware of the political impact of the “Nine Commentaries”. A survey conducted by Harvard University on censorship of the Internet revealed that the “Nine Commentaries” is the primary focus of the CCP’s censorship. Even so, The CCP’s attempt to prevent the spread of the “Nine Commentaries” by strict information blockade has proved futile.

People are taking various measures to read or spread the “Nine Commentaries” in China, by methods such as breaking through the Internet blockade, printing it in underground printing factories, and even transporting it using commercial trucks. These brave acts are done in the face of great personal, risk for in China anyone caught with a copy of the “Nine Commentaries” is subject to 4 years imprisonment. In spite of this, millions of courageous Chinese people have risked everything to oppose communism. And in doing so, they not only help to bring an end to tyranny at home, they are helping to make the world more peaceful, free, and stable. Their firm and peaceful actions of rejecting the CCP fills the world with awe and gratitude.

From the beginning, the publication of the “Nine Commentaries” heralded the CCP’s fate of extinction. We will understand more of the historical significance of the “Nine Commentaries” after the CCP is suddenly erased from the Earth.
